I wondered where you got the name Cedar McGee. My 9 year old son has that name. Is that your child’s name too. Just curious. He hasn’t met any other Cedars yet.

This is the first and middle names of my friends’ son. (I gather the “McGee” is a family name, although it might be McGhee now that I think about it). This Cedar just turned two.
They liked the name Cedar because, in part, of the way that cedar trees grow: with their roots intertwined to lend strength to the others in their grove. Why did you choose it?
